SUZUSHO SUPASSE V Super Sportcar Concept by Kenji Mimura


Japanese company Suzusho, specialized in kit cars such as Lotus Seven replicas - has released the first details on the Supasse V sportscar, a two-seater coupé with a weight of just 850 kg and dimensions similar to the Lotus Exige/Elise.

The rear sub frame is bolt on and is easily replaceable. The Suppasse-V is the closest thing on the road that is equal to a competitive racing car which, can be seen at Le-mans and many other circuits. The Body is shaped and designed by the famous Kenji Mimura, who is well known for Dome Zero and Le-mans cars in Japan.



The Supasse V will be powered by a 2.3-liter turbo engine derived from the Mazda3 MPS, which delivers 270 hp and is coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The structure comprises an aluminium monocoque chassis with a steel tube sub frame. The in-house developed suspension system adopts double wishbones both at the front and at the rear.

According to the first unofficial information the Suzusho Supasse V will go on sale in middle 2010 with a price between 50 and 80,000 US dollars.
